Perrysburg Dentistry

Office Manager

After completing my dental assisting program, I began what was to be my life long career in the dental field!  Working for 10 years as a dental assistant and then moving into an office position, I combined my understanding and knowledge of hands on dentistry with my passion of helping patients achieve their optimal dental health and a beautiful smile! Yes, I had found the perfect position for me and have been fortunate to be able to say, "I Love What I do!!!"  Although I am one of the newer faces you will see at Drs. Gannon and Kollar’s office, I bring to the office over 30 years of experience in managing the administrative aspects of your dental care and I am excited to continue to meet all of our current patients and welcome our new patients into the practice.  My husband and I have been married for 36 years and are blessed to have our daughter and son, there spouses, and our three amazing grandchildren, living near us !!!  Watching the three little loves of our life grow up and being able to be a part of that routinely is priceless !!

Registered Dental Hygienist

During my eight years as a registered dental hygienist, I have worked as a substitute hygienist in many offices and in various states in the country.  This has provided me experience with a wide range of patient care, exposure to new dental technologies and vast array of patient and staff communications.  I always knew I wanted to be a professional in the health care field, and knew I did not want to work nights and weekends—so dental hygiene was the perfect fit!  Outside the office I enjoy my family, friends and enjoy having fun with others!

Registered Dental Hygienist

I have been a registered dental hygienist since 2007 and recently joined the office of Fort Meigs Dental, with Doctors Gannon and Kollar. Working in this dental office that provides outstanding care with great dental skills,    all in a friendly environment,  allows me to continue to grow professionally and to provide our patients with optimal care. Being a dental hygienist allows me to interact with people of the community while making a positive difference in their dental health. Outside of the dental office I enjoy running marathons, but my true passion lies in spending time with my husband, Brian, and our two children Stella and William.

Registered Dental Hygienist

I have been a registered dental hygienist for over 30 years, and I have had the good fortune to work in this practice for over 20 of those years.  I enjoy working in this friendly, fun and caring atmosphere, and treasure the relationships I have built with our patients and staff over the years.

Outside the office, I enjoy spending time with my husband, Mike, and our two grown children.  I also enjoy reading, walking our very energetic dog, Reily, and Michigan football! (My Alma Mater).

Office Administration, Scheduling and Insurance Assistant

Jill started her career in the field of dentistry by completing her certificate in dental assisting from The Toledo Dental Academy in 2004.  She has served her patients and doctors for the last 15 years, as a dental assistant, and then decided to further apply her skills and knowledge of dentistry through administration at the front desk. Partnering with the other staff members, Jill enjoys working together with patients to help them maximize their dental health and insurance benefits for the year through effective scheduling and claims management. The practice is happy to have Jill on board to complement Lynda and Sandy at our front desk,  who together make an amazing team serving our patients. Outside the office, Jill enjoys spending time outdoors with her son and husband and their dog Brody, diving into  any outdoor game they can-especially volleyball,  as the weather permits.

Registered Dental Hygienist

Due to my natural curiosity and the guidance of my family dentist as a youth, I was given encouragement to attend college and follow a dental oriented path. .   I did this, and completed my degree in dental hygiene from Owens Technical College. I love the one-on-one skills used when working with patients, and helping them improve their dental health and their smiles!  I have thoroughly enjoyed my 30 years in Northwest Ohio as a dental hygienist and look forward to serving your dental needs in our practice.

Dental Assistant

We welcome Logan as our newest Dental Assistant! A native of Oak Harbor, Logan continued her education after high school in the field of dental assisting, because she wanted to work in the medical field, and make a difference in patients' health and their lives.  She continues to do this in our office, following completion of her degree in dental assisting from Owens College.  Outside the office, I enjoy my family time and time with my 4 legged friends--Jessie and Roger.

Lynda Lynda

Office Administration and Scheduling Commander in Chief!

My life at the “front desk” of Doctors Gannon and Hehl office is ANYTHING but mundane!  I am here to help check-in all our patients, check them out when treatments are finished, and I always work hard to balance your busy schedules with ours in order to facilitate dental treatment.  I have often been called a great “people person”, and enjoy all of our patients, including the latest updates around their families, or just life in general.   If you have an issue and need help—I am here to help find the person to assist you, if I am unable to help you myself.

Following high school and college, I began work with Drs. Detwiler and Gannon in 1993, moved to a different aspect of healthcare for a while, but returned in 2001.  I have always worked in various jobs that interface with people, and while my days are busy, when we look back and see what we have accomplished for people at the end of the day, it is a good feeling!

Outside the office, I LOVE my dogs, and love to walk.  I like to mix it up, and enjoy taking a different route, every day.  Life with my two young adult children still keeps me on my toes, as well.   There’s never an invite to take in a sporting even that I will turn down, whether it is football, basketball, high school, college or pro!

Dental Assistant

I started my career in dental health as a dental assistant with Doctors Detwiler and Gannon in 1999, after completion of my degree in dental assisting from Stautzenberger College in Toledo.    I chose the profession in dental healthcare because I enjoy the interaction with patients ages 3 to 103.  Our treatment plans always seem to end with a smile.  Sometimes our work helps the patient who has a dental health issue, and other times our treatment plan results in the smile the patient always wanted.  In the fall we always enjoy a good  GO BUCKS!

Registered Dental Hygienist

I graduated from the Owens Community College dental hygiene program in 2013 and from Bowling Green State University with bachelors of Allied Health Science in 2014. Beyond my work as a dental hygienist, I teach at Owens College in the dental hygiene and dental assisting programs. I love to work with patients and with students. Giving back to the community through volunteerism is also important to me.  Every year I volunteer at Give Kids a Smile at held at Owens College, which provides free dental care to children in need. I also volunteer at Miles for Smiles every year, which raises money for the Dental Center of Northwest Ohio. Outside of the professional world, my husband and I recently purchased a house that we will call home, as we are newly weds!

Registered Dental Hygienist

Shortly after graduating from the dental hygiene program at Owens College in 1998, I began treating patients in the dental office of Doctors Detwiler and Gannon, DDS.  The office continually allows me to work in a friendly, comfortable environment, where I can interact with different people and educate them on how to improve or maintain their oral health.  My world outside the office revolves around my husband and kids.  Family vacations are cherished, memories made, and I enjoy catching up on the latest book on my Kindle!

Registered Dental Hygienist

A registered dental hygienist since 1992 from Owens College, I have been practicing with Doctors Detwiler and Gannon for 14 years.  I grew up in a family where half were in a medical field, and half in a dental field, so I knew I wanted a career where I could help improve patients’ health and help others.   I am married to my high school sweetheart, Lee, and we have 3 wonderful boys.  Their involvement in sports keeps us cheering them on throughout their seasons.  When I get a free minute, I LOVE spinning, which I am addicted to!
