Perrysburg Dentistry

drgannonI am originally from Pittsburgh (GO STEELERS!), Pennsylvania, but have lived in Ohio for the last 40 years. Graduating from The Ohio State University with a bachelor of science degree in microbiology in 1979, I continued at OSU to receive my DDS degree from The Ohio State University College of Dentistry in 1983. I continued my postgraduate education at the Medical College of Ohio (now University of Toledo) graduate dental residency program, completing the program in 1984. At that time, I joined the practice of Doctors Detwiler and White.

In 1985, Dr. White retired, and I became a partner with Dr. James Detwiler. My passion for continual learning and teaching others continued, as an associate professor at the Medical College of Ohio. I thoroughly enjoyed teaching graduate dental students for twelve years until 2005 while maintaining our practice in Perrysburg. Dr. Detwiler retired from private practice in 2011 and continues to live in the Perrysburg community. Dr. Lauren Kollar and I now continue to serve the NW Ohio community together and we are very fortunate to have a vital office and staff to serve you.

I am a member of the American Dental Association, The Ohio Dental Association and the Toledo Dental Society.  Annually, I  continue my education by completing advanced courses in dentistry to better serve our patients.

My wife Diane and I, raised our three children Katie, Doug and Jeffrey in the Perrysburg area, and are now proudly watching as their adult lives thrive through their professions, and with their own families.
